• reassemble hob components, test basic function (gas/electric) and leave work area tidy

• use PPE and follow contamination protocols for heavy soiling or pet-affected carpets

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear floor area and remove small items from hobs to speed work

• check parking and access for van or equipment and tell tradie about tight streets

• let the tradie know about pets, fragility of carpets or sealed hob warranties

• confirm if appliance removal requires a gas/electrician and who organises it
