Scope of Works

• Pre-visit survey to identify fibre type, backing, pile condition and stubborn stains.

• Move light furniture (sofas, tables) and protect legs with foil or blocks.

• Industrial vacuum to remove dry grit and pet hair.

• Pre-spray traffic lanes and spots with enzyme/solvent detergents; agitate with contra-rotating brush.

• Hot-water extraction (truck-mount or high-pressure portable) with twin rinse passes to neutral pH.

• Post-groom carpet pile, install turbo dryers or leave windows ajar for rapid drying.

• Replace furniture on protective tabs; optional stain-guard or deodoriser; leave after-care sheet.

1 – 2 hours for two rooms. Extra time if carpets are heavily soiled, thick pile prolongs drying, multiple stain treatments needed, or large furniture requires dismantling.

1. Which cleaning method suits my carpet fibre—hot-water extraction or low-moisture encapsulation?

2. Are the detergents Woolsafe-approved and child/pet friendly?

3. How long will the carpet take to dry and when can furniture go back?

4. Is stain-guard or deodorising included in the quote?

5. Do you carry public-liability insurance covering shrinkage or dye-bleed?

6. Will you move and protect heavy items, and is there a surcharge for this?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Access & Parking: Reserve a driveway space for the van; hoses must reach inside.

• Power & Water: Ensure a cold-water tap and double socket are free.

• Declutter: Remove breakables and small items from floors for faster progress.

• Stains: Tell the tech what caused each stain—wine, coffee, pet urine—for correct pre-treatment.

• Ventilation: Keep windows ajar and heating low to speed drying.
