Scope of Works

• Clear loose debris, fallen branches and leaf litter from borders and beds

• Hand-weed borders and remove roots from flowerbeds and paving joints

• Power-spray or brush moss and algae from patios and paths (requires water/electric point)

• Spot-treat persistent weeds with selective herbicide using PPE to protect pets and soft planting

• Mow and edge lawns, trim low hedges and prune small shrubs where requested

• Collect and remove green waste or load for customer disposal/collection

Most garden tidies and weed-control jobs take 2–6 hours for a small to medium rear garden; heavily overgrown areas, extensive paving joints or large lawns can take 1–2 days

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• Are you insured for garden work and what level of public liability cover do you carry

• Do you use chemical weedkillers and what precautions will you take for pets and children

• Will you bring all tools and do you need external power or a water supply on site

• How will you dispose of green waste and are removal costs included

• Do you recommend repeat treatments for stubborn weeds and what interval do you suggest

• Can you provide references or photos of similar jobs you have completed

How to Avoid Surprises

• confirm gate width and clear access to the rear garden

• reserve parking or tell the tradie about restricted street parking

• ensure a mains tap and power socket are available for pressure washing if needed

• move children and pets away from work areas and remove toys and pots from the garden

• agree in writing what green waste will be left, taken away or composted
