Scope of Works

• Inspect garden and hard surfaces to identify weed types and priorities

• hand-weed borders and beds, including roots where practical to reduce regrowth

• spot-treat persistent weeds on paths and patios with approved herbicide (if requested)

• clear weeds from paved joints and edges using hand tools and debris removal

• apply mulch or weed-suppressing dressing to prepared beds where agreed

• bag and remove green waste or load to customer-provided compost bin; note any need for repeat visits

• do you charge per hour or give a fixed quote for the whole job?

• will you use herbicides and which products do you recommend for my garden?

• do you include green waste removal in the price or charge separately?

• are you insured and can you provide public liability and qualifications for pesticide use?

• what preparation do you need from me (access, car parking, remove pots) before you start?

• can you provide a written quote and expected schedule for follow-up visits?

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear access and a parking bay close to the garden

• point out water supply and outside taps if needed for cleaning

• tell the tradie about pets, compost heaps and delicate planting before work starts

• agree waste removal method and any tip or bag fees in advance

• ask for PPE handling if herbicides are used and confirm signage for neighbours

• check council or estate rules on pesticide use and working times ahead of booking
