Scope of Works

• Confirm booking details – pick‑up location, destination, mileage and vehicle condition.

• Carry out a quick damage‑record photo inspection before touching the vehicle.

• Load the car onto a flat‑bed truck or spec‑lift, using winch, wheel‑straps and chocks.

• Secure to DVSA standards, check handbrake, gears and light board.

• Transport to the stated drop‑off point, obeying insurance and route restrictions.

• Conduct a post‑delivery walk‑round, record mileage, release keys and obtain a signed hand‑over.

• Supply an itemised receipt or digital report with any additional charges (e.g. storage).

A straightforward breakdown tow over 10–20 miles usually takes 1 – 2 hours (load, secure, drive, unload).Extra time is needed for locked transmissions, accident recovery, winching from ditches, rush‑hour routes or paperwork delays at the destination.

How to Avoid Surprises

• Reserve kerb space wide enough for a recovery truck and check local parking restrictions.

• Have keys, alarm fobs and log‑book ready before the truck arrives.
