• are you insured for public liability and green waste removal

• what is included in the call‑out fee and hourly rate

• will you remove cuttings or leave them and is there an extra charge

• do you supply turf/seed and what guarantee exists for repairs

• how will you protect borders, irrigation heads and garden furniture

• what happens if weather or access prevents the work and how is rearrangement handled

How to Avoid Surprises

• give clear access and working space and unlock gates

• reserve parking or confirm where the team can park vans

• mark irrigation heads, buried cables and ponds to avoid damage

• clear toys, furniture and fragile pots from the work area

• let the team know about pets, children or hazards and keep them secured

• agree in advance whether cuttings are composted, taken away or charged for
