• what exactly is included in the price (mowing, edging, collection)

• how do you handle disposal of cuttings and is removal included

• do you have public liability insurance and can you provide a certificate

• what equipment will you use and are there extra charges for hire or ride-on mowers

• do you offer treatments (weed control, fertiliser) and are chemicals safe for children and pets

• how many visits or follow-up treatments do you recommend for improving poor lawns

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear access to the lawn and check gate widths for mowers

• book a parking space or advise of restrictions to avoid parking charges or delays

• move toys, garden furniture and fragile pots and secure pets before arrival

• tell the tradie about locked gates, steep slopes or fragile turf so they bring suitable kit

• confirm ahead whether you want cuttings left as mulch or removed to avoid extra fees
