Scope of Works

• diagnose heater matrix failure and check related cooling system components

• drain and safely capture engine coolant for disposal or reuse where appropriate

• remove necessary dashboard or trim panels to access heater matrix

• disconnect hoses and remove old heater matrix, replacing seals and any damaged hoses or clips

• fit new heater matrix, reconnect hoses, reassemble trim and refill and bleed the cooling system

• pressure test for leaks and verify heater function and coolant temperature

• dispose of contaminated coolant and old parts in line with regulations

• do you supply the heater matrix and parts or do i need to provide them

• what warranty do you offer on the part and on labour

• is coolant disposal included and how do you handle contaminated fluid

• will dashboard or trim removal incur extra charges and can you estimate time for my vehicle make/model

• do you perform a pressure test and post‑repair system bleed to ensure no leaks

• do you have experience with my vehicle make and are there known access issues

How to Avoid Surprises

• tell the tradie your vehicle make, model and year and any previous cooling repairs

• remove personal items from the car and clear the work area to avoid delays

• confirm whether parts are available to avoid an extra visit and ask for lead times for special parts

• arrange parking or a safe flat working area and provide keys or access instructions in advance

• ask for confirmation that the fitter uses appropriate PPE and will contain spills to protect the interior

• check the tradie is insured for vehicle work and get a written estimate for extra charges
