Scope of Works

• Remove and responsibly dispose of existing guttering and downpipes

• Inspect and replace rotten fascias and soffits where necessary

• Install new brackets, gutters and downpipes, cutting and sealing joints

• Realign and connect downpipes to drains or install new outlets as required

• Replace fence panels, set new posts in concrete and pack level

• Treat or stain new timber components and fix gravel boards where needed

• Work at height using ladders or scaffold and use PPE to protect property

Small repairs typically 2–4 hours. replacing a full run of guttering or swapping 6–10 fence panels at a semi‑detached property usually takes 1–2 days. extended time can result from poor access, high or multi‑storey roofs needing scaffold, hidden rot in timbers, adverse weather, or requirement for permits and neighbour access.

• Are you insured for public liability and with employers' liability

• Can you provide a written quote that itemises materials, labour and disposal

• Will you need access to my neighbour's garden and will you get permission in writing

• What warranty do you offer on materials and workmanship and for how long

• Will scaffold or traffic management be needed and who arranges and charges for it

• How will you protect plants, decking and patios during work

How to Avoid Surprises

• Check boundary ownership and any party wall or neighbour consents

• Ensure a clear parking space near the work area and level access for materials

• Mark out buried drains, cables and irrigation before work starts

• Confirm colour and type of guttering and fence panels beforehand

• Keep pets and children away from the work area and provide access keys if needed

• Agree waste removal method and where spoil can be left before work begins
