Scope of Works

• Inspect units, hinges, runners and carcass for wear, water damage and alignment issues.

• Remove faulty doors, drawer fronts or shelves; mark and brace adjacent cabinetry.

• Replace or reposition hinges, adjust mounting plates, fit new runners or soft-close dampers.

• Cut out and splice new moisture-resistant board where cabinets have blown or de-laminated.

• Re-bond loose edging, fill chips, colour-match touch-up and polish surfaces.

• Re-level cabinets and doors, check reveals and adjust handles or catches.

• Clear site, dispose of off-cuts, provide care advice and workmanship warranty.

Longer if: water-damaged end panels require cutting out, tall fridge housings need propping, or colour-matched fascia panels are ordered.

1. Can you supply identical hinges/runners to match my cabinet brand?

2. Will you seal new boards and cut edges to prevent future swelling?

3. Is the call-out credited against the repair if it overruns one hour?

4. Do you carry soft-close upgrade kits if I decide to add them on the day?

5. What warranty covers both the new hardware and your workmanship?

6. How will you protect work-tops and flooring while removing doors?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Access & Parking: Reserve a nearby space or visitor permit for the van.

• Clear Cupboards: Empty affected units so the carpenter isn’t delayed.

• Appliance Isolation: Unplug built-in appliances if cabinets around them need shifting.

• Spare Parts: Provide any leftover colour-matched panels or spare hinges from the original install.

• Pets & Children: Keep away from power-tool areas; small fixings are choking hazards.

• After-care: Get cleaning and hinge-lubrication advice to extend repair life.
