Scope of Works

• collect vehicle from the agreed address and confirm keys and ID

• inspect and photograph exterior and interior, record mileage and existing damage

• prepare and secure vehicle for loading using appropriate restraints and PPE

• load vehicle onto transporter (flatbed or trailer) and transport to the nominated garage

• hand over to garage contact with completed paperwork and drop‑off photos

• return vehicle to your address after service (if prebooked) and complete a final condition check

Time on Site

Most local collections and deliveries take 1–3 hours on the day (collection, loading, drive to garage and handover). Single‑way collections without return can be 30–90 minutes. Longer times occur with greater distance, heavy traffic, access difficulties, vehicle non‑starters requiring recovery, or when garage acceptance is delayed

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• are you insured for vehicle transport and public liability and can you provide policy details

• how do you handle non‑starter vehicles and is winching or recovery included in the quote

• who will sign for the car at the garage and can I nominate a specific contact or service desk

• do you provide a written condition report and photos on collection and on return

• what are your cancellation, waiting and additional distance charges

• will you need parking permits, driveway access or temporary no‑parking arrangements for collection

How to Avoid Surprises

• leave keys and immobiliser or alarm instructions with a named contact

• remove valuables and loose items from the vehicle

• tell the transporter about any access restrictions, narrow lanes or low bridges

• confirm fuel level and advise of any known faults or leaks that affect handling

• ensure a clear parking space for the transporter and arrange permits if needed

• provide a daytime contact number and confirm whether return delivery is part of the booking
