Scope of Works

• Verify proof of ownership and carry out a brief fault interview.

• Remove base‑cover and inspect mechanism, cabling, motor & handset.

• Attempt non‑destructive adjustments (realign linkages, tighten bolts, lube pivots).

• If required, replace failed parts (cable, handle, motor, transformer, control box).

• Reset electrics, test full recline cycle under load and carry out safety PAT check on electric models.

• Re‑fit upholstery panels, tidy wiring and provide a written service report & warranty.

Time on Site

30 – 90 minutes for a single chair; may rise if:

• Parts must be sourced or programmed on site.

How to Avoid Surprises

• Send clear photos of the fault tag & underside before the visit.

• Confirm ground‑floor access or lift availability for heavy chairs.

• Reserve near‑door parking for a van with tail‑lift.

• Check mains socket is within 2 m of the chair for testing.

• Advise the technician of any pets, mobility aids or trip hazards nearby.
