Most re‑sealing jobs take 30–90 minutes on site depending on extent of removal and cleaning; allow 24 hours for silicone to cure before heavy use

• Do you use sanitary‑grade neutral cure silicone suitable for bathrooms?

• How many similar re‑seals have you done and can you show references or photos?

• Will you remove old sealant and replace it, or just re‑profile existing seal?

• What prep will you do to deal with mould or damaged grout and is that included in the price?

• Do you provide a written guarantee and how long does it cover the seal?

• Are there extra charges for tile repairs, re‑grouting, or working at height?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Clear the area and remove toiletries, towels and bath mats before the visit

• Ensure good ventilation and keep the room dry for curing

• Check there is nearby parking or safe loading for waste and materials

• Point out any loose tiles, leaks or previous repairs before work starts

• Confirm access to water and power if needed

• Secure pets and advise building manager for flats if communal rules apply
