Scope of Works

• Inspect walls for loose or hollow-sounding tiles, water damage and mould.

• Isolate water supplies; protect sanitaryware and flooring.

• Remove damaged tiles or cut out deteriorated plasterboard/backer.

• Treat damp substrate, fit moisture-resistant board or patch, apply waterproof tanking.

• Re-bed replacement tiles (or fit panels), re-grout and colour-match silicone joints.

• Skim, sand and prime any exposed plaster surfaces ready for paint.

• Clean site, dispose of debris and provide care/warranty notes.

2 – 6 hours for a small patch; longer if drying times are needed for damp-proof coatings, large tile areas, or multiple coats of plaster.

1. Will you moisture-test the wall and apply tanking where needed?

2. Can you source matching tiles/grout, or will there be a contrast joint?

3. Is patch plastering included if board edges need feathering flush?

4. What warranty do you offer on adhesion and waterproofing?

5. How will you protect my bath, taps and floors from dust and tool damage?

6. Is disposal of old tiles and packaging included in the price?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Access & Parking: Reserve a nearby space or arrange a permit for the van.

• Spare Tiles: Provide any leftover tiles from the original install for a perfect match.

• Ventilation: Ensure windows/extractor can run to speed curing and reduce dust.

• Water Isolation: Know where the stopcock is in case hidden pipes are disturbed.

• Working at Height: Flag if repairs are above shoulder height so a platform may be needed.
