Scope of Works

• Inspect surfaces and check for damp, mould or failed sealant

• clean, de-grease and prepare walls, ceiling and trim

• mask and protect bath, shower, taps, fittings and floor coverings

• make good minor cracks and chips and apply primer/sealer where needed

• apply 1–2 coats of bathroom-grade, mould-resistant paint to walls and ceiling and touch up trim

• advise on any additional work needed such as sealant replacement or specialist mould treatment

Typical presence on site is 3–8 hours (one day) for a standard bathroom repaint; larger rooms, extra repairs or mould treatment can extend this to 1–2 days

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• do you use bathroom-grade, mould-resistant paint and which brand do you recommend

• how many coats are included and do you include primer/sealer when needed

• how will you protect fixtures and flooring and do I need to move items beforehand

• do you inspect for mould or damp and what additional charges apply for treatment

• what guarantee do you provide on workmanship and paint, and do you supply a written quote

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear personal items and towels from the bathroom before the trade arrives

• ensure good ventilation or plan for a drying period between coats

• confirm parking or drop-off space for materials and ask about any access charges

• advise the tradie of any building rules, flat access or working-at-height constraints beforehand

• keep pets and children away from the work area while paint is applied and drying
