Scope of Works

• Sign in, review RAMS and cordon work zones.

• Dust, vacuum and surface-sanitise desks, kitchens, wash-rooms and high-touch points.

• Machine-scrub hard floors; spot-clean or hot-water-extract carpets.

• Clean internal glazing and reachable high-level ledges (step-ladder or MEWP if specified).

• Empty recycling & general-waste bins, replace liners, restock consumables.

• Supply chemicals, microfibre cloths and basic PPE; leave area tidy and issue signed checklist.

Time on Site

2 – 6 hours for up to 5,000 ft².

Extended if: multi-floor premises, heavy post-build dust, high-level glass needing MEWP set-up, restricted weekend or night slots, or additional decontamination tasks.

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

1. Are operatives DBS-checked and trained to COSHH/BICSc standards?

2. Does the quote include all chemicals, consumables and VAT?

3. How are extra hours, square-metre overruns or deep-clean items charged?

4. What surcharge applies for night, weekend or bank-holiday cleans?

5. Will you supply waste-transfer notes and recycling weights?

6. What public-liability and treatment-risk insurance do you carry?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Access & Security – organise keys, alarm codes, lift passes.

• Parking / Loading – reserve a bay or budget for ULEZ / congestion charges.

• Working Hours – confirm if out-of-hours cleaning attracts a premium.

• Permits & Equipment – pre-book MEWP/tower hire for high-level glass.

• Utilities – ensure hot water and power sockets are available near the work area.
