Scope of Works

• clean kitchen surfaces, cupboard fronts, splashbacks and external appliance faces

• deep clean bathroom suites, tiles, grout, shower screens and remove limescale

• oven interior cleaning where specified (often charged as an extra)

• vacuum and mop floors, clean skirtings and door frames

• dust radiators, light fittings, shelves and vents; wipe internal window glass and sills

• remove general rubbish and small disposables; haul-away of large items quoted separately

• use appropriate PPE and cleaning chemicals to manage contamination risks

Most end-of-tenancy deep cleans take 3–6 hours for a 1–3 bed flat; larger houses typically take 6–10 hours or more. Factors that extend time include heavy soiling, included oven or carpet cleaning, multiple cleaners required, lost access or needing repeat visits

• are you insured for accidental damage and public liability

• do you provide a written checklist or photos on completion

• is oven or carpet cleaning included or quoted as an extra and at what price

• do you charge by the hour or offer a fixed end-of-tenancy quote

• what do you need me to move or clear before you arrive

How to Avoid Surprises

• confirm access time, who will hand over keys and any entry instructions

• check parking and loading arrangements or provide permits if needed

• remove valuables and personal paperwork before the cleaner arrives

• tell the tradie about pets, mould hotspots or contamination so they bring suitable PPE

• agree extras (oven, carpets, upholstery) in writing to avoid surprise charges
