Scope of Works

• general dusting of surfaces and fixtures

• vacuuming carpets and rugs, sweeping and mopping hard floors

• kitchen wipe down including worktops, sinks and exterior appliance surfaces

• bathroom cleaning: toilets, basins, showers and mirror wipe

• empty bins and replace liners

• change bed linen or make beds if requested

• spot treat high-touch areas with appropriate disinfectant; cleaner will wear gloves and use PPE when needed

Typical single regular clean: 1–3 hours depending on property size and number of rooms; deep cleans or end-of-tenancy visits typically 3–6 hours or more; travel time and access issues extend duration

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• are you insured and can you show public liability cover

• do you provide your own cleaning products and equipment or should i supply them

• what is included in a standard visit and what counts as an extra

• can you provide references or reviews from local clients

• what are your payment terms, cancellation policy and notice period for recurring bookings

• do you have procedures for handling contamination or biohazard situations and what PPE do you use

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear access routes and put away breakables

• confirm parking arrangements or provide permit details if parking is restricted

• advise about pets and keep animals secured during the visit

• tell the cleaner about any flooring or surface care instructions to avoid damage

• confirm whether you will supply cleaning products or expect the cleaner to provide them

• agree where keys will be kept or whether you will be at home to avoid access delays
