Scope of Works

• carry out a site inspection and test patch to assess surfaces and contamination

• remove loose debris, moss and organic growth from roofs, paths and patios

• softwash or pressure wash walls, render, brickwork and driveways using suitable detergents

• clear and flush gutters and downpipes of debris where accessible from a ladder or pole

• protect nearby planting and external woodwork; remove chemical residues and rinse surfaces

• provide photos of work and advise on follow-up treatments such as biocide or sealing

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• do you use pressure washing or a softwash system for painted and delicate surfaces

• what chemicals do you use and are they biodegradable and plant safe

• do you carry public liability insurance and can you provide a copy

• will you need scaffolding or a cherry picker and how is that charged

• do you require access to mains water/power and parking near the property

• can you provide a written quote and before/after photos

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear access and a parking space close to the work area

• move garden furniture, cars and fragile items away from the work zone

• secure pets and inform neighbours if there may be overspray or noise

• check for conservation area or listed building constraints before specialist cleaning

• confirm availability of water and power points and any requirement for permits for working at height
