Scope of Works

• Mow lawn to agreed height and collect or mulch grass cuttings

• Trim edges and strim around fences, beds and paths

• Clear leaves, moss and garden debris from paths, patios and gutters and sweep tidy

• Remove green waste to your bin or take away for disposal if agreed beforehand

• Use PPE where needed (gloves, eye and ear protection) and take basic precautions against ticks

• Report any drainage issues, mole runs or hidden hazards and recommend follow-up work

Small front or back lawn only 30–60 minutes; typical tidy with edging and sweeping 1–2 hours; large or overgrown gardens 2–4 hours or longer depending on access and waste removal

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• What exactly is included in the price (bagging, sweeping, disposal)

• Do you bring your own equipment and are you insured for property damage

• Are disposal charges included or extra and how will green waste be removed

• Will one operative be enough or do you recommend two for my garden size or slope

• Can you provide a written estimate and timescale and how do you handle bad-weather delays

How to Avoid Surprises

• Check access and gate widths and tell the tradie about narrow alleys or steps

• Reserve a parking space or confirm where the van can load and unload

• Move or secure pets and remove toys, plant pots and garden furniture from work areas

• Point out buried sprinkler lines, irrigation taps or fragile features before work starts

• Agree in advance whether clippings are left as mulch or taken away and any extra disposal cost

• Tell the tradie about recent pest sightings or contaminated areas (dog fouling, fly-tipping) so they can plan PPE
