Scope of Works

• Inspect lawn for hazards, slopes and access routes

• Mow grass to an agreed height using push or powered mower

• Edge borders and cut around paths, fences and garden features with a strimmer

• Collect and remove grass clippings or mulch back depending on what's agreed

• Clear debris and small litter before and after cutting

• Use appropriate PPE and follow safe petrol/equipment handling

Small front lawns typically take 30–45 minutes; medium suburban lawns 1–2 hours; large or very overgrown sites can take 2–4 hours or more depending on access and whether clippings are removed

• How often will you recommend visits for this lawn?

• Do you include clippings removal in the price or do you mulch back?

• Will you use a ride-on mower or handheld equipment for my lawn size?

• Are you insured for damage and do you have public liability cover?

• Do you charge extra for very overgrown lawns or steep/sloping sites?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Give clear access to the lawn and remove garden furniture and toys

• Park nearby or confirm where the operative can park

• Secure pets and keep children away from the working area

• Tell the tradie about hidden hazards (sprinklers, holes, cables)

• Agree in advance whether clippings are taken away or left as mulch
