Scope of Works

• Inspect external shell for dents, rust, delamination or water ingress and document affected areas

• Cut out and treat corroded metal, weld in patches or carry out fibreglass/aluminium repairs as appropriate

• Pull dents, apply filler and skim, sand back and apply primer to prepared panels

• Replace or refit outer panels, seals and trims and reseal window and roof joints where required

• Colour‑match and spray panels or blend repairs into surrounding finish, using a booth where possible

• Protect interior fittings and electrics, remove small trim panels if needed and carry out corrosion protection

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• Have you repaired campervan or motorhome bodies like mine and can you show photos of similar work

• Do you handle aluminium, stainless and fibreglass repairs or will you subcontract specialist work

• How will you colour‑match and blend the paint and will spraying be done in a booth or on‑vehicle

• What warranty do you offer on structural repairs, paintwork and resealing

• Will you need to remove interior panels or electrics and is that included in the quote

• What lead time for parts and what access, parking or power do you need on site

How to Avoid Surprises

• Provide a level parking space within easy reach and tell trades about low bridges, height restrictors or narrow lanes

• Confirm access to 240V power and a dry, covered place to paint if weather is poor

• Move valuables, remove awnings and mark roof fixtures, solar panels and vents before work starts

• Tell the tradie about any previous water ingress, damp insulation or aftermarket conversions that affect panels

• Agree waste removal, where the vehicle will be parked overnight and any permits or parking bay suspensions needed
