Scope of Works

• Tighten loose legs and refasten brackets using appropriate fixings

• Replace broken or missing wooden or metal legs with matching off‑the‑shelf parts where possible

• Fit new threaded inserts or repair mounts for detachable legs

• Glue and clamp cracked wooden leg joints if repairable and allow drying time

• Check sofa for wobble and test stability; advise if structural frame repairs are needed

Most straightforward sofa leg repairs take 30–90 minutes on site; replacing multiple legs, sourcing matching parts or waiting for adhesives to set can extend work to 2–4 hours or require a return visit. Two‑person lifts, narrow access or tight staircases add time and may need an assistant

• Can you supply replacement legs and do you have examples or photos of matches

• Will you need to remove upholstery or cushions to access fixings

• Do you fit threaded inserts or other permanent repairs and will this affect the sofa warranty

• How long will the repair take and is a second visit likely if parts are needed

• What guarantee do you offer on labour and supplied parts

• Are there any call‑out or travel charges for my area

How to Avoid Surprises

• Clear a working area and remove cushions and fragile items

• Leave parking close by and confirm access route for large sofas

• Advise if the sofa must be carried through narrow doorways, lifts or stairs

• Have photos or measurements of the leg and any fixing plate to speed diagnosis and parts matching

• Mention building rules (flats, concierge, noise) and keep pets away during the visit
