Scope of Works

• Survey & volume estimate (on‑site or via photos) to size the load in cubic yards or van fractions.

• Sort & segregate recyclables, WEEE, metals and hazardous items in line with 2025 Simpler Recycling rules.

• Load waste safely; dismantle bulky furniture if needed and sweep collection area.

• Transport to licensed transfer station; weigh and log each waste stream.• Provide waste‑transfer note & receipts for compliance.

• Optional extras – mattress surcharge, fridge degas, skip hire or weekend / out‑of‑hours collection.

Typical Cost (inc. VAT)

Time on Site

• 30–60 minutes for a few bulky items at kerbside.

• 2–3 hours for a full van‑load cleared from inside the property.Delays arise with upper‑floor flats (no lift), parking restrictions, or extensive item dismantling.

1. Are you an upper‑tier waste‑carrier and will I receive a digital waste‑transfer note?

2. Is the quote fixed per load (cubic yards) or hourly, and inclusive of VAT?

3. How do you price extras such as mattresses, fridges or rubble?

4. Will you sweep up after loading and protect floors / lifts during removal?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Send clear photos & dimension estimates when requesting quotes.

• Reserve parking close to the entrance; pre‑pay bay suspensions if required.

• Bag loose debris and place small items near the exit to reduce loading time.

• Isolate hazardous waste (paint, batteries) in labelled boxes; flag fridges/freezers in advance.

• Keep a copy of the waste‑transfer receipt—you’re responsible if items are fly‑tipped later.
