Trampoline Assembly Costs

Scope of Works

• Pre‑site check: confirm trampoline size, model and ground conditions from your photos.

• Unload & sort parts, inspect for transit damage, lay out on protective sheeting.

• Assemble frame on level ground; fit legs, top rails and enclosure‑post sockets.

• Install springs & jump mat with tensioning tool; align padding and safety skirt.

• Fit enclosure posts, net, ladder and anchor kit (if supplied) for wind security.

• Torque‑test all fixings, check bed tension and enclosure zip operation.

• Demonstrate safe use to homeowner, issue maintenance tips and tidy packaging for disposal or recycling.

Time on Site

• Typical duration: 2 – 4 hours for 8‑12 ft round models.

• May extend if:

  • ground requires levelling or paving slabs;

  • larger oval/rectangular or 14 ft + frames;

  • high‑wind anchor kit installation into hard soil;

  • rain delays assembly or dries out grease on springs.
    

Questions to Ask Your Trade

1. Is the quote fixed‑price or hourly and does it include the call‑out?

2. Will you provide and fit an anchor or tie‑down kit to meet insurance guidelines?

3. Are replacement springs, bolts or pads stocked in your van if something is missing?

4. Do you carry public‑liability insurance for work on children’s play equipment?

5. What clearance do you need around the trampoline for safe assembly and future use?

6. How will you dispose of cardboard, plastic wrap and metal banding?

7. What warranty do you offer on workmanship and tension‑testing?
   

How to Avoid Surprises

• Photograph the area and measure access gates—tell the fitter about steps or narrow paths.

• Cut the grass and level soft spots before the visit; have slabs ready if the lawn is uneven.

• Keep pets & kids indoors until the safety‑net zip is closed and signed off.

• Reserve driveway parking for a van carrying long frame sections.

• Check for overhead branches or cables that could snag the enclosure net.

• Confirm weekend/ULEZ fees and whether rain will trigger a re‑schedule charge.
