Scope of Works

• Remove and bag construction debris and packaging for safe disposal

• HEPA vacuum and damp‑wipe all horizontal and vertical surfaces to eliminate fine dust

• Treat and remove paint splatters, grout haze and adhesive residues from hard surfaces

• Deep‑clean kitchens & bathrooms (sanitise appliances, tiles, sanitaryware)

• Internal window & frame cleaning; polish glass, steel and chrome fixtures

• High‑level dusting using extension poles or MEWP/scissor lift where required

• Final “sparkle” pass: detail wipes, polish floors, replace protective films, snag check

Questions to Ask Your Trade

1. Do you price by property size, square footage or hourly rate—and what is the minimum charge?

2. Is all equipment, PPE and cleaning chemistry included in your quote?

3. How will you manage waste—are skips, permits or licensed carriers required?

4. Will the same team return for a “snagging re‑clean” if builders revisit?

5. Are your operatives DBS‑checked, insured and trained for work at height (IPAF)?

6. Can you provide recent after‑builders references with similar project scope?

7. What surcharge applies for urgent, out‑of‑hours or weekend cleans?
   

How to Avoid Surprises

• Finish all building work first—no decorators or snaggers on‑site during clean

• Provide clear access & parking for van and waste containers

• Confirm if skip permits or restricted‑parking dispensations are needed

• Flag ceiling heights >3 m early so lift/scaffold can be pre‑booked

• Check your power & water supplies are live for equipment use

• Photograph condition beforehand to avoid damage disputes

• Agree in writing which extras (carpet, exterior windows, appliance interiors) are in or out of scope
