Scope of Works

• clear leaves, moss and loose debris from lawns, borders and paved areas

• weed and remove invasive growth from beds, paving joints and gravel driveways

• trim back small shrubs, cut back overhang onto pavements and tidy edges

• sweep and light pressure wash of block paving or tarmac where safe to do so

• treat small oil or diesel stains with specialist products where requested

• collect and bag green waste, remove rubbish and load into a vehicle or arrange uplift

• check drains and gullies for blockages and report any repair needs

• wear gloves, eye protection and use dust masks when sweeping or handling mouldy material

Most front gardens and a single-car driveway tidy take 2–5 hours. Larger gardens, heavy weed growth, significant moss on paving or stubborn oil stains can extend work to a full day or require a return visit.

• are you insured for public liability and damage to paved surfaces?

• how many operatives will attend and what equipment will you bring?

• how will you dispose of green waste and is that included in the quote?

• do you treat oil stains and what are the extra costs if specialist removal is needed?

• will you use herbicides and can you provide product details and safety guidance?

• what payment terms and a written estimate do you provide before starting?

How to Avoid Surprises

• confirm vehicle access and leave a parking space or permit if needed

• clear fragile items, garden furniture and vehicles from the work area

• tell the team about pets, hidden water taps or buried services

• check if a skip or multiple waste sacks need permission for pavement storage

• agree in writing which stains or repairs are out of scope and any extra charges
