Scope of Works

• remove surface weeds from borders, paths and patios

• cut back and trim overgrown shrubs and low hedging

• clear moss and weeds from paving and apply targeted treatment to persistent growth

• remove and load green waste into the trader's van or the customer's skip

• turf or ground clearance and rotavation on request

• inspect for invasive species (Japanese knotweed) and advise required actions

Small weeding jobs 1–3 hours; typical garden clearing 3–8 hours; very overgrown or multi-day clearances 1–2 days. time increases with poor access, large volumes of waste, presence of invasive species or adverse weather

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• what exactly is included in the quote and what would be an extra charge

• how will you dispose of green waste and are disposal fees included

• do you have insurance and public liability cover

• can you handle invasive species and will you provide a written plan if found

• do you use herbicides and what precautions do you take around pets and neighbours

• will you provide before and after photos and a written invoice detailing work done

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear access and let the trader know about steps or long wheelbarrow runs

• check parking or loading restrictions and provide permits if needed

• secure pets and fragile garden items before work starts

• tell the trader about any known invasive plants or buried hazards

• agree start time, payment method and who is responsible for skips or special permits
