Scope of Works

• mow lawn to an even height using appropriate equipment

• trim edges and strim around paths, beds and fences

• collect and remove grass cuttings and light green waste

• rake leaves, clear debris from borders and sweep hard surfaces

• prune small shrubs and remove minor dead growth (not major structural pruning)

• wear PPE and follow safe working-at-height procedures where needed

Most small front or back gardens: 45 minutes–1.5 hours; average suburban gardens: 1–2 hours; larger or very overgrown plots: 3–5 hours or more. Factors that extend time include dense overgrowth, multiple waste loads, restricted access, additional pruning, and wet weather

Questions to ask your tradie

• can you provide a written quote showing call-out, hourly rate and disposal fees?

• how many people will attend and what equipment will you bring?

• do you remove green waste and do you charge per bag or per load?

• will you need access to my water or electricity and is there any extra charge for that?

• how do you handle unexpected issues like hidden debris, pest nests or badly damaged turf?

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear access and make parking available close to the gate

• move vehicles, children’s toys and fragile items off work areas

• secure or confine pets before the team arrives

• tell the tradie about underground sprinklers, cables or hidden debris

• confirm who takes green waste and whether extra disposal charges apply
