• will you check for underground services before digging and provide a plan if needed

• what measures do you take for wet weather delays and site protection

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure a clear access route and somewhere for vans and plant to park

• confirm if parking charges or residents permits are needed for vehicles and skips

• provide an outdoor tap and power point for site use or agree generator access

• secure pets and fragile garden items before work starts

• tell the tradie about boundaries, tree preservation orders or known Japanese knotweed

• agree waste segregation, skip position and a target completion date in writing
