Scope of Works

• Strim long grass and weeds to an agreed height across lawns and borders

• Trim edges along paths, driveways and flowerbeds

• Work around fixed obstacles (trees, posts, sheds) leaving safe clearances

• Collect and remove cuttings to green waste sacks or load into customer bin

• Inspect for hazards (glass, wire, irrigation) and report items needing manual removal

• Use appropriate equipment (petrol, battery or electric) and PPE for operator safety

• Are you insured for public liability and tool damage

• Do you charge a call‑out and what is included in the minimum visit

• Will you remove green waste and is disposal included or extra

• What equipment will you use (petrol, battery or electric) and any noise implications

• Who moves obstacles and do you expect the owner to clear items beforehand

• Do you charge extra for long grass, slopes or when extra operatives are needed

How to Avoid Surprises

• Ensure gates and a clear route to the garden are unlocked and accessible

• Confirm parking or short‑term loading space for the van

• Remove toys, pots and fragile items from the work area

• Secure pets and inform neighbours if work is near a shared boundary

• Point out hidden hazards such as irrigation pipes, glass or tree roots before start

• Agree green waste disposal method and any extra charges beforehand
