Scope of Works

• Remove weeds from borders, beds and paved areas using hand tools and appropriate machinery

• Cut back and clear overgrown vegetation, shrubs and volunteer saplings

• Strim and tidy lawns, collect grass cuttings and rake loose debris

• Uproot persistent perennial weeds and, where agreed, apply targeted treatment for regrowth

• Load green waste into vehicle or arrange skip/green‑waste collection and dispose responsibly

• Use appropriate PPE, note hazards and advise if specialist disposal is required for contaminated material

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• Are you insured for garden clearance and public liability for damage

• What exactly is included in the quote and how will disposal be charged

• Will you use herbicides or pesticides and can you provide product and safety information

• Do you need access to water, power or on‑site parking and are there any access restrictions

• How many operatives will attend and what machinery will you bring

• Do you provide a written quote, payment terms and do you require a deposit

How to Avoid Surprises

• confirm vehicle access and parking close to the garden

• move vehicles, garden furniture and fragile pots out of the work area

• lock away pets and tell the tradie about any shared‑garden rules or neighbour access

• point out protected plants, compost heaps, sprinkler valves and any buried services

• agree waste removal method and cost in advance (green‑waste collection, local tip or skip)
