Scope of Works

• how do you handle nesting birds and what evidence will stop work if found?

• do you charge per hour or per job and what triggers extra charges?

• can you remove roots or grind stumps and is that included in the price?

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear access and move vehicles so vans and a chipper can park close to the work area

• notify neighbours if work affects shared boundaries or requires road access

• tell the tradie about hidden services, cables or gas metres near the hedge

• check estate or planning restrictions for high boundary hedges and protected species

• confirm parking arrangements and whether a permit or drop-off space is needed
