Scope of Works

• Survey hedge length, height and access and check for nesting birds or protected species

• cut hedge down to near ground level and remove main stems and branches

• dig out roots where practicable or arrange stump grinding as an extra

• chip arisings on site for mulch or load and remove green waste to a licensed facility

• tidy and rake the area, leave soil roughly level and add topsoil or turf if agreed

• provide before-and-after photos and advice on replanting or boundary finish if requested

How to Avoid Surprises

• ensure clear vehicle access and a parking space for the crew and any chipper

• check for nesting birds and tell the tradie if work must wait for a bird survey window

• point out or mark any buried services, cables or irrigation lines near the hedge

• decide in advance whether you want woodchip kept on site or removed

• secure pets and warn neighbouring properties if work faces a boundary
