Scope of Works

• Cut the lawn to the agreed height using petrol or electric mower and collect or mulching clippings as requested

• Edge lawn along paths and borders and tidy overlaps with beds

• Strim around trees, fences and other obstacles and clear grass from hard surfaces

• Weed, deadhead and tidy flower beds; cut back perennials and remove debris

• Top up beds with agreed mulch or compost and reposition or remove spent plants if requested

• Remove green waste and dispose responsibly; place waste in customer bins if agreed

• Use gloves and eye protection when handling thorny plants and debris.

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• Are you insured for garden work and for accidental damage

• Will you bring your own mower, strimmer and leaf blower and is there an extra charge

• How many gardeners will attend and do you charge per person or per hour

• How will green waste be removed and are disposal costs included

• Do you offer one‑off tidy work or a recurring maintenance plan and what are the differences in price

• Will mulch or plants be supplied as part of the quote or billed separately

How to Avoid Surprises

• Provide clear access and a parking space close to the garden for loading equipment

• Move fragile pots and garden ornaments out of the working area

• Tell the gardener about shared access, boundary issues or restricted hours

• Agree waste removal method ahead of time to avoid unexpected disposal charges

• Let the team know about pets or hazards such as ponds and uneven ground
