Scope of Works

• Inspect each plant for pests, disease and watering needs

• Water and feed to an agreed schedule and note special requirements

• Prune, deadhead and remove damaged foliage to tidy displays

• Repot plants into fresh compost and suitable pots where required

• Apply targeted pest treatment and clean tools using PPE where required

• Tidy display areas, wipe leaves and remove plant waste for disposal

Typically 30 minutes–2 hours for a routine indoor visit; repotting, large plant moves or pest treatments may take 2–4 hours or require a return visit

Questions to Ask Your Tradie

• Which plant types do you specialise in and can you handle succulents, ferns and large palms

• Do you supply plants, compost and pots or should I provide them

• How do you treat pests and are the products pet‑ and child‑safe

• Are you insured for damage and do you carry public liability insurance

• Can you provide references or before/after photos of similar jobs

• What is your cancellation policy and do you offer regular maintenance plans

How to Avoid Surprises

• Clear access to rooms, balconies and plant stands and remove breakables from work areas

• Ensure an outdoor tap or indoor access to water for heavy repots or confirm supply will be provided

• Tell the team about pets, allergies and any communal rules for balcony or shared garden work

• Have a ladder or agree hire for tall plants and confirm any height/working‑at‑height restrictions

• Agree disposal expectations for green waste and whether you want used compost returned
