• what is included in the price and what counts as an extra

• how will you dispose of green waste and is that cost included

• do you supply materials (plants, turf) and can i choose supplier

• will you use pesticides or herbicides and can you provide safety info

• if work uncovers pests, rot or drainage issues how will these be handled

• confirm parking or drop‑off point and any charges

• clear narrow access routes and remove fragile pots or furniture

• tell the tradie about underground services, drainage or known pests

• secure pets and keep children away from work area

• agree waste removal method and where debris will be left if not removed
