Scope of Works

• Remove surface weeds from paved areas, patios, paths and driveways using hand tooling and mechanical brushing

• Treat perennial and deep-rooted weeds with a licensed systemic herbicide where appropriate and weather permits

• Pull and dig out weeds from borders and planted areas while avoiding damage to desirable plants

• Apply jointing sand or polymeric filler to cleared paved joints if requested

• Power-wash hard surfaces where moss or staining is present (machine hire may be an extra)

• Collect and remove arisings, tidy borders and dispose of green waste or take to tip

• Provide agreed follow-up treatments for regrowth and advise on maintenance

Small areas (patio or path) 30–90 minutes; medium areas (rear garden or driveway) 1–4 hours; large sites or heavy-rooted regrowth may take a day or more. Time increases with poor access, wet weather, required drying time after spraying and specialist disposal

• Which herbicide or chemical will you apply and what safety precautions do you take?

• How will you protect nearby plants, turf or water features?

• What will you do with the waste and are disposal costs included?

• Do you offer a follow-up visit or guarantee against regrowth and what does it cover?

• Will you need vehicle parking or restricted access permissions on site?

How to Avoid Surprises

• Ensure clear access to the areas to be treated and move garden furniture

• Reserve parking nearby or tell the tradie about parking restrictions

• Protect pets, children and wash lines during and after chemical treatment

• Tell the tradie about protected plants or areas where you do not want herbicide used

• Ask for confirmation of PPE and contamination handling where chemicals are used

• Check communal or council rules before work on shared paths or verge areas
