Scope of Works

• Apply spot herbicide treatments where agreed and record which products are used

• Collect, bag and remove green waste or load a skip for large clearances

• Edge beds, tidy borders and leave site swept; report on invasive species that need specialist treatment

• Operatives will wear PPE; take care around ponds, soft landscaping and children’s play areas

• Do you include disposal and waste removal in the quote

• Which herbicides or treatments do you use and are they suitable near ponds or veg plots

• Will all roots be removed or will follow-up visits be needed to prevent regrowth

• Do you have public liability insurance and can you provide a written estimate

• Will you need access to water, electricity or parking close to the work area

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear access and a parking space for a van or small truck

• point out ponds, drains, vegetable beds and desirable plants before work starts

• confirm whether you want chemical treatment, mechanical removal or hand pulling only

• arrange a place for tools and store bags or a skip if large amounts of green waste are expected

• tell the tradie about pets and where children play so they can manage PPE and chemical use
