Scope of Works

• clear surface weeds by hand and with forks where accessible

• dig over borders or vegetable beds to remove roots and loosen compacted soil

• remove persistent perennial rootstock (bindweed, horsetail, couch) and bag for disposal

• wheelbarrow or sack up arisings and load into green waste sacks or client skip

• backfill and roughly level beds, leaving soil ready for planting or turfing

• do you remove green waste and what is the disposal charge

• will you need extra equipment (rotavator, chipper) and who pays hire costs

• do you use herbicides for persistent weeds and can i opt out

How to Avoid Surprises

• confirm parking and access for wheelbarrows or small machinery

• clear fragile pots and furniture and protect lawns or paving where digging occurs

• tell the tradie about buried services and drains or mark them up beforehand

• keep children and pets away while work and disposal takes place

• agree disposal method and any extra charges for skips or remote collections
