Scope of Works

• inspect appliance and run diagnostic checks and error code reading

• check door seals, hinges and gaskets and advise on replacements

• replace minor parts on site where possible or provide a quote for major components

• advise on food safety and use PPE if there is contamination or mould

Most diagnostics and simple repairs take 1–2 hours; complex jobs such as compressor replacement, refrigerant recovery or ordering specialist parts can take 3–6 hours or require a return visit

• do you carry parts for my make and model or will you need to order them

• will I get a fixed price for the repair or an estimate after diagnosis

• do you hold refrigerant handling certification and provide gas recovery paperwork

• how long will the repair take and will I need to remove food from the fridge

• what warranty do you offer on parts and labour

How to Avoid Surprises

• clear access to the appliance and remove perishable food where possible

• provide make, model and any fault codes or photos before the visit

• ensure parking or drop-off space for the engineer van

• mention building access rules or concierge requirements in advance

• ask if specialist parts need ordering and the expected lead time

• secure pets and tell the engineer about any contamination risks
